Infinology's cheapest plan is its "SU1000 Elite" which goes for $6.95 a month. The plan comes with 9000 MB of disk space, 50 GB of bandwidth, 5000 POP3 e-mail accounts, but virtually no features at all -- not even SSI. If the lack of features isn't enough to pull you away, they also charge a one-time set-up fee of $25. This is unfortunate because most hosts dropped the whole 'set-up fee' concept a few years ago. The company does, however, offer a 30-day-money-back guarantee.

Infinology Customer Support
Although Infinology offers no one-on-one support, it does offer a large FAQ section -- covering support questions on domain names, e-mail accounts, FrontPage, billing, and more. The company also offers a number of manuals on using their control panel, which were found to be pretty helpful. The company says they are geared towards "smart" consumers -- those who can deal with any problems that arise by themselves.

Infinology currently uses the H-Sphere control panel, which is easy to use and includes all the functions in other control panels like CPanel. A few highlights about H-Spere are that you can customize its look and feel. In the panel you can also use Infinology's "Site Builder", which lets you create professional-looking web sites without knowing much HTML.

Infinology's servers currently reside in a data center located in Los Angeles, Calif. The center is housed in a poured concrete sealed underground room, making it resistant to natural disasters. Like any data center, it is equipped with security guards and cameras monitoring the physical location of all the servers.

Infinology Conclusion
Infinology provides a service that is not intended for the average beginner -- as no one-on-one support is available. But nor is it intended for the intermediate or advanced level user -- as hardly any features are available either. This leaves you wondering who the company is trying to target.
